Effects of this medicine
This medicine suppresses the function of plasmin (fibrinolytic enzyme) which relates to bleeding and allergy. It consequently stops bleeding and suppresses allergic/inflammatory reaction.
It is usually used for bleeding which is considered to relate to generalized or local hyperfibrinolysis, and various symptoms accompanied with eczema/hives/drug eruption/intoxication dermatosis, tonsillitis/laryngopharyngitis and stomatitis.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 3 to 8 tablets (750 to 2,000 mg of of the active ingredient) a day, in 3 to 4 divided doses. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
・If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
・If you have thrombus (cerebral thrombosis, myocardial infarction, thrombophlebitis, etc.), consumptive coagulopathy and renal failure.
・If you are at risk of thrombosis.
・If you are a postoperative immobile patient.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
