Effects of this medicine
・This medicine inhibits both isoforms (type 1 and type 2) of 5 alpha-reductase, suppresses the conversion of dihydrotestosterone from testosterone and decreases the volume of enlarged prostate.
・It is usually used to treat prostatic hyperplasia.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 1 capsule (0.5 mg of the active ingredient) once a day.
・Strictly follow the instructions.
・The ingredients contained in a capsule may irritate the oropharyngeal mucosa. Do not chew or open the capsule when you take this medicine.
・Before using this medicine, a rectal examination or other screening for prostate cancer will be performed. These examinations are also performed periodically while using this medicine.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.
・You should never take two doses at one time.

Storage conditions and other information
・Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature (1 to 30 degrees Celsius), away from direct sunlight and moisture.
・Store as a PTP sheet. Push the capsule out of the sheet immediately before taking it.
・Discard the remainder. Do not store them. If you do not know how to discard, seek advice of your dispensing pharmacy or medical institution. Do not give the unused medicines to others.
