Effects of this medicine
This medicine inhibits the production of cholesterol in the liver, and reduces blood cholesterol and improves serum lipid.
It is usually used to treat hyperlipidemia/familial hypercholesterolemia.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (10mg of the active ingredient), once a day, or in 2 divided doses a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age and symptoms. If symptoms are severe, the dosage may be increased up to 2 tablets (20mg) a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
