Effects of this medicine
・This medicine lowers pressure in the eye by reducing production of aqueous humor by blocking beta-receptor.
・It is usually used to treat glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, apply 1 drop of 0.25% preparation at a time, twice a day. If there is not enough effect, apply 1 drop of 0.5% preparation at a time, twice a day. This medicine is 0.5% preparation. Strictly follow the instructions.
・Before applying, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Pull down your lower eyelid lightly and apply the medicine. Be careful not to touch the dropper tip to your eyelid, eyelashes, or eye. After applying, keep your eyes closed without blinking for a while (1 to 5 minutes), and apply gentle pressure to your tear ducts (located in the inner corners of the eyes) with your fingertips. Wipe off any excess liquid gently with clean gauze or a tissue. If you need to apply other eye drops at the same time, wait more than 5 minutes.
・If you wear soft contact lenses, take off the lenses and then apply. After an interval of 5 to 10 minutes to wear contact lenses again.
・If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should not apply two doses at one time.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have: bronchial asthma/history of bronchial asthma, bronchospasm, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure, sinus bradycardia, atrioventricular block, cardiogenic shock, right-sided heart failure secondary to pulmonary hypertension, congestive heart failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis, or diabetes.
・If you wear contact lenses.
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
